With such a small space to work with, Mel came up with the idea to put the bed up high with storage underneath in the steps and wardrobe and open shelving. Made from a sturdy 22mm New Zealand grown plywood with Russian birch Prime Laminate drawer fronts and Blum soft close drawers there is nothing overlooked in this tiny space.
Measuring 2.1m *1.6m we managed to get a lot in.
Other constrainers were a window at the foot end of the bed that we didn't want to put any structural support in the way, so the solution was to cantilever this corner of the bed.
